RTP Wise is a small reference on the mathematics behind fixed-odds games — built to explain the figures honestly, including the parts that do not favour the player.
Why this exists
RTP is quoted constantly and explained rarely. Most of the confusion around it comes not from the arithmetic, which is simple, but from four words that get skipped: over the long run. This site puts them back.
It is written for adults who play, or are considering playing, and who would rather know what the numbers mean than be sold a version of them. It deliberately refuses to promise outcomes, because the maths it describes cannot deliver them.
